There is a LGFA Fundamentals Coaching Course taking place in St Laurence's GAA on Saturday March 22nd from 9.45 to 4pm Course costs €20.

The girls from Castlemitchell recently attended the National Gaelic4Girls Blitz day in Croke Park and all agreed that it was an experience they will never forget. The girls put their memories in a short presentation for everyone to see and is now on the Ladies GAA website. Congratulations girls and we are delighted you enjoyed your day! Minor training has resumed under Cormac Mulhall and we wish them all  the best.

Castlemitchell ladies came up against a very strong Balyna team in the first game of the championship. Playing some lovely football the Mitchell ladies really put it up to the league champions in the  first half but the strengthh of the
champions told in the 2nd half. This was a real team performance with defence being outstanding led by Laura Fennelly and Laura Pender and the forwards being led by Tricia Delahunt and the impressive Niamh Mulhall. Well done ladies you continue to do the club proud.

As part of the Gaelic for Girls we are hosting Timahoe from Laois this Saturday at 11am. This will be a blitz for our u13s down to u6s.  Anyone that can help out any day, your help would be appreciated.
