The girls from Castlemitchell recently attended the National Gaelic4Girls Blitz day in Croke Park and all agreed that it was an experience they will never forget. Castlemitchell Ladies GFC have been selected as one of only two clubs in Kildare to participate in the Leinster Gaelic4Girls - G4G - programme. The first phase of this programme is training for coaches. Training will be provided for all south Leinster counties in Athy College on 19th March at 7.30pm. If you would like to get involved with this programme in Castemitchell, please contact Damien.
G4G is a 12 week programme incorporating coaching sessions with fun non-competitive blitzes aimed at increasing participation in Ladies Gaelic Football. The programme targets girls aged between 9-13 years.
