 Castlemitchell had there Dinner Dance/Presentation Night on Sat 25/02/2012 in The Clanard Cpurt Hotel. Special guest Co Board Vice Chairman Ger Donnelly presented the Dowling Cup 2011 medals to our Senior team and Players of the year awards :
Ladies Young Player of the Year - Laoise Langton; Ladies Senior Player of the Year - Laura Pender; Castlemitchell Young Player of the Year - Paul McDonagh; Junior Player of the Year - Paddy Fennelly; Senior Player of the Year - Joe Maher. Outgoing treasurer Michael Sourke received a special award in recognition of outstanding contribution to the club over many years. A very enjoyable nights entertainment was provided by Golddust and DJ. Thanks to all who supported the night. With the new season just begining this is a very busy weekend for Castlemitchell GFC. The Dowling Cup continues with the local derby match against Rheban. The Under 14 and Under 16 teams both start their leagues. Also the club hold the annual Dinner Dance / Presentation Night on Saturday night.
