The Club would like to thank Rebecca Brewer for her generous sponsorship of the Senior Ladies team. Rebecca has played with Castlemitchell for many years and is also one of the Club physios. Rebecca organised our team bonding last night which was hilarious, on the night we were presented with our new Jerseys sponsored by Rebecca, and our club tops sponsored by Mick Brazil Construction.

Great team effort from the whole team. Well done lads. Castlemitchell V Moorefield
Castlemitchell U11’s travelled to Moorefield for their 2nd game in phase 1 of go games. In Damp and wet conditions both teams struggled with the conditions early on. In the early stages both teams attacked with intent but were struggling to put scores on the board due to some excellent defending from both sets of backs. In a low scoring half Castlemitchell led @ the break by 1-6 to 1-1. Castlemitchell started the second half strongly getting to grips with the conditions were moving the ball much quicker and not taking the extra play. Through good tacking and moving the ball much quicker and accurate shooting the castlemitchell lads got on top and put enough scores on the board to see the game out.
