Rathangan travellled to Castlemitchell for the first game of the u13's all county league last night. On a damp surface this was a entertaining game between both sides in a game of fast movement of the ball up the field and some excellent scores from both sides. Rathangan started brighter with 2 points before Castlemitchell got there first score with a point from Jack McCabe. Soon after Castlemitchell got a goal from James Corcoran but Rathangan came back and got 2 goals of there own . Castlemitchell then came back with a goal from Oisin Flynn and points from Luke Maher James Harris and Oisin Flynn . At half time the score was Castlemitchell 2-6 Rathangan 2-5.In the second half Castlemitchell started to move the ball better and with the defence in control started to score more frequent with scores from Charlie Roycroft ,Jack McCabe,J Harris and R Harris and goals from Adam Fanning ,Jack Mc Cabe .Rathangan kept playing good football and got 2 late goals but with Eamon Lawless playing well in goals the game finished Castlemitchell 5-16 Rathangan 4-9.
