Castlemitchell and Sarsfields produced an excellent game of football n Thursday night in Sarsfields. In a high tempo game it had everything from high catching ,great scores ,excellent defending and quick movement of the ball . Castlemitchell started brightly with some quick scores against a very big Sarsfields side but the boys in green and white were moving the ball swiftly down the wings and then were producing the killer pass to get scores. There was some great scores to be seen from both sides to the large attendance . Well done to both teams.

Barn Dance, Indoor Astro Park Official Opening and Teenage Disco. **************************************** After years of hard work from so many people on our Development Committee, and within the club, we have now completed our new Indoor Astro Park. Our club is one of the fastest growing clubs in the county, both for player numbers as well as Development and this state of the art facility will no doubt be hugely beneficially to so many teams, clubs and people within our community. Within the grounds we now boast two full size pitches (one floodlit), a 150 seater stand, a safe walking track for all members around the perimeter of the grounds, clubhouse with large dressing rooms which include a fully functional kitchen (available for parties), meeting rooms and physio room. The good news continues as we have plans for lots more in the coming months and years and we always welcome new members to our community to join us on that journey. The official opening will take place on October 10th and will feature the Opening Ceremony followed by our Barn Dance with an entertaining night sure to be had. We will have lots of local bands on the night as well as the legendary DJ Spudy. Tickets are available now from all committee members for €10. We will also have a Teen Disco on Friday Oct 9th from 7-9pm for some of our younger members with DJ HD. We will thank everyone who made it possible on October 10th but for now we thank all our members and supporters for your continued support.
