Castlemitchell u14s v Cappagh

Castlemitchell made the long trip to Cappagh last night for  the u14s championship. Against a bigger and stronger team Castlemitchell battled  to finish on a score of Cappgh 4-13 Castlemitchell 2-11. Castlemitchell were finding it hard to contain the strong running and movement from the Cappagh midfield and forwards who were scoring some fine long range points. A goal from Lorcan Ward gave Castlemitchell belief that they could get a result and kept going against the wind.Cappagh with a strong lead at halftime kept the Castlemitchell backs under pressure and with some great saves from Darragh Ashton in goals .Castlemitchell fought back and with a goal from James Harris and a late surge of pressure from Castlemitchell to score some points  Cappagh were on pressure to the final whistle.
