Castlemitchell gained their first win of this years Junior Championship with an impressive round 2 win over Ballykelly.
Castlemitchell held a half-time lead of 1-07 to 0-02 after dominating throughout. The goal cam from Emmet Hyland in the 18th minute with the points from John Fennelly, Tadhg Fennin(2), Kieran Harris(2), Karol Harris and Mark Fennelly.
The second half was much more even affair with Ballykelly scoring 1-04 to Castlemitchell's 7 points. Mick Lawless landed two excellent frees followed by points from 3 points from Tadhg Fennin, and 1 each from Karol Harris and Mark Fennelly as the 'Mitchells ran out 1-14 to 1-06 winners.
