Castlemitchell and Carbury served up a very good game of football in difficult conditions last night in Castlemitchell with Carbury winning in the end on a score of Carbury 4-5 Castlemitchell 2-4. In a tense game with nothing between the two teams Carbury started better with a goal and a point before Castlemitchell got there first point from James Harris. Both teams were playing an attacking game with good efforts on goal and with Carbury's defence playing well Castlemitchell were finding it hard to get scores on the board until a penalty from Jack McCabe brought the score closer. Carury also got 2 goals in the first half to go in at half time 3-2 to 1-2.With little between the 2 teams Castlemitchell were pushing hard for scores and were unlucky to find Carbury''s goalkeeper in top form to prevent Castlemitchell scoring more goals.With points form Charlie Roycroft and James Harris and another goal from Jack McCabe  and with time running out Castlemitcehll were pushing forward and were caught on a break from Carbury who scored a late goal to leave the game finish  with Carbury winning .
