Castlemitchell travelled to table toppers Moorefield this evening with Castlemitchell finishing out top on a score of 3-10 to 1-3. With a strong wind behind them in the first half Castlemitchell went in top at halftime 3-8 to to 1 point with some great work in the defence to keep Moorefield out and with the midfield and forwards moving the ball clever with goals from J Harris,J McCabe and O Flynn and points from J McCabe,O Flynn C Roycroft ,L Maher and R Harris. Darragh Ashton was out in front and brought down for a penalty which J McCabe slotted away to the right corner.In the second half with the wind now favouring Moorefield Castlemitchell battled away with all team working together to keep Moorefield at bay with Moorefield scoring a goal late on and Castlemitchell scoring 2 points of their own from J Harris and A Doyle. .
