Our under 9s team finished off there league with two wins on Tuesday against Rathangan  and on Thursday night against Castledermot. This team has gone undefeated in their league where they have played great football throughout. Teams on the week were E Doogue,M Kelly,J Mc Cabe,A Doyle,J Corcoran,j Harris,R Harris, O Flynn, DJ Nolan,E lawless and O Fennin. Great to see Oisin Fennin back after long injury.

We send our best wishes to Barrow Gaels U/14s in the County Final this Saturday in the County Grounds Newbridge. Throw in is at 10.30 and all support would be greatly appreciated .

Our u11s finished there group of games last Saturday in Castlemitchell  in which they were unlucky to lose to Naas on a score line 0of 2-12 to 0-11. It was a tightly fought contest throughout with good open play football and scores from both sides. Our U9s team defeated Raheens last night in Raheens on a score line of 19 scores to 11. On a warm summers evening Castlemitchell started quickly and never looked back to put up a good score. Both teams played a open fast flowing game with great point scoring from both sides .Raheens came out in the second half  with 3 unanswered scores but Castlemitchell fought back to keep there lead .Thanks to Raheens for a great game.

Our U11s team were unlucky in a very good game against Rathangan last night in Castlemitchell. In a very open game there was plenty of good scores to be seen . Castlemitchell went in at half time leading .In the second half Rathangan came out of the blocks quicker and scored four points in a row.  Castlemitchell came back well but couldn't get enough scores to win. Well done to both teams for a great game of football. Score  was  Castlemitchell 0-10 Rathangan 2-10

Our u11s team came second yesterday evening against a bigger and stronger Raheens in Raheens. Castlemitchell started brightly against the breeze and went into the first half leading by one score. Raheens came out in the second half and move the ball quickly to there forwards who scored some very nice points .The game finished on a score line of Raheens 1-09 Castlemitchell 0-06,Team on the day was D Ashton,M Kelly,C Lamon,T Williams,J Harris,J Whelan,L Hickey ,S Kelly,L Ward,Z Harris,R Harris,S Adise,J Dooley,R Kavanagh,L Maher and G Kelly. Castlemitchell's under 9s defeated Sarsfield in Division two last night on a scoreline of 18 scores to 4. Castlemitchell started very quick with 4 scores in the first quarter and never looked back with great defending and moving the ball swiftly up to the forwards to finish the game with 18 scores.They command ed the ball in each quarter and never let up with great effort throughout.
