Castlemitchell welcomed Hollywood to Castlemitchell last night for their final group 1 game in the second phase of the u11s. Castlemitchell started very quickly to advance into a lead which they never gave up with Hollywood finding it hard to keep with the passing and movement of the ball . Hollywood never gave up and kept playing to put some scores on the board. Well done to both teams for a spirited display.

Castlemitchell travelled to Elistown for there semi-final against Elistown on Sunday morning. Castlemitchell started brightly with the forwards out front and winning the ball in style but were unlucky to come up a very good goal kepper  and the goalpost . Elistown were starting to come into the game and put some good points on the scoreboard. In a tense game Elistown got the upper hand in the second half and Castlemitchell were finding it more difficult to score against a strong defence and finished out winners on a score of 3-11 to 2-4.Both teams put on a good display of football and never gave up. Well done to both teams and best of luck to Elistown in the final.
