Castlemitchell made the local trip to Athy last night for the opening game of division one u11's league. This was an exciting and close game throughout with Castlemitchell coming out on top . It was a game of everything with powerful defending and quick movement of the ball up to the forwards and excellent point scoring from all angles.Both teams were close throughout and provided an enjoyable match for the large crowd.

Castlemitchell finished their second phase of the u10s tonight defeating Miltown in Castlemitchell tonight. Miltown started brightly converting some great points before Castlemitchell got into the game with a point from Jack McCabe. Castlemitchell and Miltown delivered great play from defence out to their forwards to score more points. Castlemitchell were begining to pull away from Miltown but they never gave in . Both teams continued to play fast flowing football and the level of accuracy of point scoring was great to see.
