Castlemitchell hosted Kilcullen last night for the second last game of phase 2 in the u11s league. Castlemitchell started quickly from the start and scored some good points with fast play up to the forwards to score. Kilcullen were battling hard  to win possession of the ball  against Catlemitchell  and were finding it hard against the tight marking defence of Castlemitchell. In the second half Kilcullen were finding were attacking more and both teams scored some well taking points . It was a good game of football with Castlemitchell finishing on top at the end.
Well done to both teams for a good sporting game.

Well done to Darragh Ashton,Luke Maher ,Max Buttigieg and Saheed Adise who have been training with Kildare u12s with the Lily óg  set up. These boys have trained and played matches against Kildare North board and last week they went to Croke Park and went to the dressing rooms and done the tour of Croke Park .Over 80 12 year old boys went to Croke Park for an enjoyable day. Missing from photo is Sagheed Adise.They also got Kildare jerseys on the day.

Castlemitchell u13s travelled to Allenwood last night for there final u13 group game.Against  a very strong wind in the first half it was very difficult for Castlemitchell  with Allenwood using the wind to there advantage and scoring from far out. Castlemitchell kept going and on the move forward scored a goal and a point and went in at half time down by 7 points.In the second Castlemitchell regrouped and scored some fine points and goals but Allenwood never gave up with some goals of there own and the game finished in Allenwood's favour on a score of 5-12 to 5-10.Castlemitchell must now wait till Sunday to find out if they progress to the semi-finals.

Castlemitchell travelled to Elistown last night. On  a rainy night in Elistown Castlemitchell started brightly and moved the ball up to the forwards and with a quick score from Oisin Groarke  .Castlemitchell never lucked back to put in a display that Elistown were finding it hard to compete with.With our defence in control Elistown were finding it hard to score. Castlemitchell kept playing a swift passing game to score some well taking points.

Well done to Castlemitchell u13s for a great display against Eadestown in Castlemitchell this morning . Eadestown started the better team and raced into a lead but Castlemitchell never gave up against the breeze. Eadestown went into half time 1-5 to 0-0 but C\stlemitchell came out after half time with a great work display to finish out on top 4-8 to 4-5. It was a good game of football from both sides who never gave up till the end.

Castlemitchell welcomed St laurences to Castlemitchell last night for the second game in phase 2 of the u11s and it was a great display of football with great energy being put in by both teams to defend tightly and move the ball swiftly and accurate. Castlemitchell started brightly and moved ahead to which they never gave up. St Laurences battled hard but were finding it hard to contain the swift movement of Castlemitchell in full flow.Castlemitchell backs were keeping St Laurences at bay from distance and making them shoot form further out .
