On Tuesday Castlemitchell's under 10s team defeated Athy in Castlemitchell on a scoreline off 2-12 to 1-2. Athy started brighter putting up 2 early points but this determined Castlemitchell team fought back and defended with great purpose and started to put points on the board .At half time it was Castlemitchell 0-4 Athy 1-2. Castlemitchell came out in the second half and scored 2-8 unanswered to finish the game on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-2 .Daragh Ashton pulled off two great saves and with all outfield players playing well it was a great start to the league.
