U12s semi final

Castlemitchell and Athy battled it out last night in a very competitive game in the semi-final of division 1 u12s . Castlemitchell started brightly and had scored 1-2 before Athy got there first score but then went into the lead by scoring 1-3 . Castlemitchell were missing  some shots for scores but were still battling and moving the ball with pace. Castlemitchell went in at half time 1 point to the good.Athy with the aid of the wind scored 2 more goals and Castlemitchell kept themselves in it with a goal  themselves. Both teams were defending well and in a very open game it was good to see skill and determination winning out by both teams. The game finished on a score of Castlemitchell 2-8 Athy 3-9
