On a sunny Sunday morning in Castlemitchell our u13 team continued their unbeaten run in their league with a fine 4-12 to 2-9 victory over a talented Athgarvan side .
Indeed it was the team from the edge of the Curragh that started better in this tie taking some fine points with the wind at their backs and they raced into a 5 point lead but a great team goal by the young Mitchell' s got the momentum going and by half time they were 3 points up. A powerful second half performance especially in the last 15 minutes saw these young lads remain unbeaten into their final league match of the following Sunday.
