On a windy Sunday morning in Castlemitchell , the home side completed a fine win over a good Naas team on a final score line of 4-15 to 1-11. This was a very entertaining game of football . The green and white had the advantage of the wind in the first half and with some good points held a 5 point lead going into the closing stages of the first half but a late Naas goal and point put just the minimum between the teams at the break on a score line of 10 points to 1-6. Naas took advantage of the wind early in the second half to draw the game but it was at this stage that the Young Mitchell's kicked on playing some great passing football and finding some great goals and points. They battled hard against a strong team and showed some great team play in recording a fine victory.
