U14's begin league with a win

On a bright Wednesday night in Naas GAA, Castlemitchell u14's got their league off to the perfect start. Castlemitchell were quickly into their stride and had two quick points on the board, however the home side came back into the match and both sides traded points before Eddie Roycroft found the Naas net to give the young Mitchells a 3 point lead . This lead was reduced to just one by the home side as the referee blew for half time . The second half began with some great football by both sides but due to some great defending by Castlemitchell led by the excellent Stephen Flynn , the green and white created a platform that produced three goals . With time running out Naas got two goals to reduce the margin to 4 points but the Mitchell's were deserving winners. Next up for this team is a home match v Castledermoton Wednesday night at 7
