Our under 11s team were unlucky tonight as they started there league in Celbridge against Celbridge 2. This very young team started brightly and defended strongly against a bigger stronger Celbridge team. We went into the second half leading after putting up some very good points on the scoreboard keeping Celbridge to limited scores on the counter attack. Celbrige got some early scores in the second half but Castlemitchell fought back and were unlucky to lose on the night. Team of the day was D Ashton,M Buttiegieg,T Williams ,C Lamon,J Harris,L Hickey,S Kelly,L Ward,S Adise,L Maher,R Kavanagh,J Whelan,J Dooley and M Kelly .Next week we play Sarsfield 2 in Castlemitchell.
