Our under 9s secuered a win tonight in division 1 against Moorefield in Moorefield . In an action packed game of defensive tacking and blocking and quick movement of the ball to our forwards they won on a scoreline of 11 to 5. They started off brightly in the first half and went in leading at 7 scores to 4 .Moorefield came out attacking in the second half but with all backs and goalkeeper Daragh Ashton keeping them at bay and our forwards scoring when on the attack there was no looking back on this fine win. Team on the night was Daragh Ashton,Mark Kelly,Kyle Sheehan,Oisin Fennin,Conor Lamon,James Harris,Ross Harris,Oisin Flynn,Luke Maher,Andrew Doyle,John Dooley and Robbie Roycroft. Next week we play Sarsfields at home on tuesday night at 7pm.
